# What is the Gnogen DAO?

DAO stands for Decentralized Autonomous Organization. 

The Gnogen DAO is thus a group of individuals from all over the world, to vote and contribute to the management of certain brands.

The core of the DAO consists of the 100 seats we reserve for artists.

The citizenship of the DAO consists of 1400 Gnogenverse community members.

50 of these 1400 Gnogenverse community seats will be given to grow business relationships and partnerships within the Gnogen Ecosystem.
